CAMS in cooperation with Aarhus University and the Danish Centre for Environment and Energy, is organising an onsite CAMS user training workshop on 30 April 2024, with a geographical focus on Denmark. The target is current and future CAMS users from universities and private entities in the country.
CAMS provides consistent and quality-controlled information related to air pollution and health, solar energy, the ozone layer and UV radiation, greenhouse gases, and climate forcing, available globally. The CAMS portfolio offers global and European data products, including multi-decadal reanalysis, daily analysis, and forecasts, emissions, and fluxes, along with tools to support policymakers. CAMS products, which assimilate data from more than 80 satellite instruments as well as in-situ data from regulatory and research measurement networks, are available free and open to everyone.
The CAMS user training workshops are opportunities for interested individuals and organisations:
The workshop is organised into two sessions (9:30-12:30 and 13:30-16:30). The first session includes a presentation of CAMS data, examples, and discussions of usage. The second session features hands-on tutorials on the retrieval and usage of data. Lunch will be served between the two sessions. The workshop will be conducted in English. The final workshop agenda will be published in mid-April.
Venue: DPU, Aarhus University, Emdrup, Copenhagen.
