General function of space object:

Student satellite demonstrator. Demonstrates a student developed AIS receiver for tracking ships at oceans and especially in the Arc- tic region. A traditional modem style and a DSP signal processor AIS receiver has both shown very good capabilities. The DSP style receiver could in the end of the mission – after new decoding SW upload – decode more than 20.000 messages/hour.
